Safety

Safety for our customers and employees is high on our list of priorities. The district provides information to the public through hotline demonstrations and safety discussions in schools. We want you to be safe around electricity, so be sure to browse some of the safety information and tips provided to you on this website.

Southern also keeps our employees well educated in safety practices. Each year our linemen are trained in hotline procedures and safety programs to keep them knowledgeable about safety on the job.
