The Large Power Rate is a load factor based rate, in which the customer’s demand in relation to the amount of time during the month that peak demand is used determines the average cost per kilowatt hour. Customers with a high load factor relationship between peak demand and kWh consumption can expect very favorable rates. On the opposite end of the load factor, those who establish a peak for a short period of time without significant use at that level can expect higher rates.
